Clear, straightforward options

Therapy is an investment in yourself. Here's how payment works so there are no surprises.

An investment in yourself

Therapy is one of the most meaningful investments you can make — in your wellbeing, your relationships, and your future. The clarity, skills, and steadiness you build here don’t end when a session does; they carry into how you handle stress, connect with the people you love, and show up for your own life. For many people, it’s the kind of investment that quietly pays back for years — in calm, confidence, and a deeper sense of being at home in themselves.

Not sure what your plan covers?

We’ll verify your benefits for you. Book a free consultation (or reach out), and you’ll share your plan details securely through our SimplePractice client portal — we’ll confirm your coverage and copay before your first session.

For your privacy, please don’t send insurance ID numbers through this website — you’ll enter those securely in the client portal.

The benefits of private pay

Paying out of pocket isn’t right for everyone, but it offers real advantages worth considering:

Complete confidentiality

Your sessions and records stay private — nothing is shared with an insurance company, and no mental-health diagnosis goes on your insurance record.

No diagnosis required

You can begin and continue therapy without needing a formal diagnosis to justify your care.

Care on your terms

You and Jessica decide the focus, length, and frequency of therapy — not an insurance company.

No session limits

Insurance can't cap the number of sessions or end your care before you feel ready.

Flexible scheduling

More freedom to arrange the times and pacing that fit your life.

Simple, transparent billing

Clear, upfront pricing with no surprise insurance paperwork.

Good Faith Estimate

Under the federal No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your care will cost. If you are uninsured or not using insurance, you are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before your first session. You can ask for one at any time. For questions or to request an estimate, contact us at (401) 360-6083 or jhayes@metanoiatherapy.life.
